Manufacturing Capabilities

And For The Simple Reasons

PROUD OF OUR PRODUCTION
FACILITIES AND PARTNERS

Hawaii's Advanced Science, Aquatic and Agricultural Center located on the 'Big Island' of Hawaii was the genesis of our product-line.? The Big Island continues to be a primary production center for many of Biotec Food,? Biomed Food and Biovet International product raw materials.

Certified 'Certificates of Analysis'

Our commitment to perfection is evident during every step of the manufacturing process, and we recognize and partner with the best suppliers and jobbers the industry has to offer, and we ensure their continuing status as the best of the best by conducting cGMP compliance audits every single year.

Whether it's the Papaya Farms and the Phyto-Plankton Growing Facility in Hawaii.1 or our state-of-the-art facilities located in California, as NNFA members, all Biotec Foods, Biomed Foods and Biovet International products, and all of our facilities adhere to stringent current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP). ?See our Compliance and Audit Program for our jobbers here and for our sprouting facilities here

Using Certified Certificates of Analysis From FDA Licensed Independent Laboratories Increases Testing Reliability

Each raw material, fresh from our growers, is closely inspected by trained botanists for its qualities. We always employ the use of certified, independent testing facilities to ensure the safety and accuracy of each lot of dietary supplements. ?Each lot is then quarantined until our FDA Certified lab analysis confirms both the existence of adequate levels of probiotic micro flora and the absence of pathogenic micro bacteria, heavy metals and other contaminants.? TLC analysis is also conducted to identify the correct profile of constituents.

We Are Proud of Our Award Winning Raw Material Suppliers and Manufacturing Jobbers

BI Nutraceuticals has been providing vitamins, minerals and specialty supplements to the food, nutritional supplement and veterinary industries since 1976. Our goal is to supply the same material from the same source time and time again. We maintain close contact with our suppliers including site visits and supplier audits to further insure the quality and consistency of our products.

Our Unique flavone rich sprouts must not be exposed to excessive heat during processing.? Our partners at BI Nutraceuticals? in Long Beach, California insure processing consistency, manufacturing quality and finished materials uniformity by using their proprietary low heat granulation and milling facility.? Please take a moment to review their incredible processing facility on the web by clicking here.

BI's Capabilities Are What Make Our Dietary Supplement Formulation and Processing into Biotec Foods' Strengths.? One would have to visit the facility in Long Beach, California to fully appreciate the capabilities.? We like to think of their processing plant as California's Cathedral of Herbs.? Anyone who has ever been inside would appreciate that description.? Biotec Food's partnership with BI Nutraceuticals translates into advanced manufacturing capabilities like:

  • Particle Engineering
Our manufacturing staff can formulate a customized product in perfect balance for its final application; liquid, tablet, capsule or softgel.

  • Drum to Hopper Formulas
These formulas are ready for use without the need to add lubricants, binders, disintegrates, or additional excipients.

  • Roller Compaction
Ideal for herbal extracts or nutritional supplements that cannot be exposed to water or heat, this densification process enhances granularity, flow and compressibility.

  • Wet Granulation
By incorporating a binder, we enhance compressibility, product flow and density while decreasing fine particulates.

  • Blending
We offer both low shear ribbon and low attrition rotary blending to incorporate a wide variety of combined ingredients.

  • Milling
With extraordinarily high capacities, BI's cold grind milling equipment allows us to deliver a broad range of particle sizes.

  • Sieving
This process provides specific particle size distributions while ensuring homogeneity and integrity.

  • UltraHD?
This proprietary process creates dense, herbal and nutritional products without the use of excipients, resulting in less dusting and less waste.
